No computer required

Apply the payload without a laptop, Wi-Fi connection, mobile signal or live connection to Drone-Hacks servers.

Connect the Mod Box to a supported, powered-on drone before flight and follow the RGB status light.

An internal rechargeable LiPo battery and USB-C charging port keep the unit ready between uses.

Clear status feedback

The RGB LED reports waiting, sending, cable or compatibility issues, and successful completion.

Purpose-built for straightforward operation

The Mod Box is housed in a durable compact case with a clear top, allowing the internal PCB and RGB status LED to remain visible. A USB-A connection port links the unit to your drone using a suitable USB cable, while the USB-C port is used to recharge the internal battery.

How it works

Power on the Mod Box.
Power on your supported drone.
Connect the drone to the Mod Box using a suitable USB cable.
Wait for the RGB status LED to turn green, then disconnect the cable.

Transmission performance

When enabled on supported models, FCC transmission power levels may help improve signal strength and may increase usable flight distance. Actual results depend on the drone, controller, firmware, environment, interference and local operating conditions.
